You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients while mentoring junior bookkeepers and supporting the leadership team in optimising systems, processes, and client delivery. For the right person, this role offers a clear pathway to Bookkeeping Manager within a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping and compliance delivery
  • Oversee payroll, BAS/IAS, reconciliations, and reporting for multiple entities
  • Review and mentor the work of junior and offshore bookkeepers
  • Handle client queries, build strong relationships, and provide practical solutions
  • Lead process and system improvements to enhance workflow efficiency
  • Contribute to staff training, team development, and operational strategy
About You
  • 5+ years’ bookkeeping experience (public practice or multi-client environment ideal)
  • Must have Advanced Xero skills and strong understanding of payroll, BAS, IAS, and superannuation
  • Confident communicator who enjoys client interaction and mentoring others
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving systems and efficiency
  • Cert IV or Diploma in Accounting / Bookkeeping (BAS Agent Registration desirable)
