About the Role
We are seeking a Governance Analyst to support Group Finance and Transformation by ensuring accurate reconciliations, robust process documentation, and governance of system changes. This is a highly month-end–focused role, providing key support across multiple divisions and driving consistent financial control and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end reconciliations for multiple team members.
- Manage and contribute to month-end processes in line with an April financial year.
- Reconcile data across multiple systems and review sales reporting variances.
- Prepare journal templates and complete journal entries.
- Review and enhance system processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and control.
- Collaborate with the business to recommend process improvements.
- Support governance over system and process changes, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Systems & Tools - Experience with SAP, TM1, or IBM Planning Analytics is highly advantageous.
What We’re Looking For - 5–7 years’ experience in a finance team environment.
- Strong understanding of financial governance, reconciliations, and process documentation.
- Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Transformation).
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence without authority.
- ERP proficiency and experience with finance transformation projects is desirable.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications in governance, risk, or compliance (desirable).
- Postgraduate qualifications in finance, analytics, or transformation (desirable).
