The Opportunity
A newly created position has opened with a long-standing Australian organisation in the manufacturing and distribution sector, currently modernising its systems and scaling rapidly following a major merger.
This is a hands-on role for a Senior Project Manager who can bridge business and technology delivering a mix of ERP, applications, digital, and process improvement projects. The environment suits someone commercial, curious, and confident engaging across both operations and executive stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across ERP, eCommerce, and business transformation
- Work closely with business SMEs and vendors to define scope, timelines, budgets, and outcomes
- Establish governance, reporting, and quality frameworks across the portfolio
- Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align project outcomes with business priorities
- Lead change, communication, and adoption activities for new systems and processes
- Oversee vendor contracts, performance, and integration deliverables
- 5–10+ years’ experience in business or IT project management within mid-sized or enterprise environments
- Proven success delivering ERP, business systems, or digital platform projects
- Comfortable engaging across technical and non-technical teams, from warehouse to boardroom
- Strong governance, budgeting, and stakeholder management capability
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, FMCG, or distribution highly regarded
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile advantageous
- Self-starter who enjoys visibility, variety, and accountability
- Strategic role with strong executive sponsorship
