Job type : Permanent or Full Time
Job reference : 1699474
Sharp & Carter is proud to be partnering with Dometic, a global market leader in mobile living solutions, to appoint a high-calibre Senior Commercial Analyst.

This is a pivotal commercial finance role supporting the Australia & New Zealand business, reporting directly to the CFO and partnering closely with senior operational leaders.

About Dometic
Dometic is a global organisation at the forefront of outdoor and mobile living innovation. With a strong presence across ANZ and a diverse portfolio, the business continues to invest in commercial capability, data-driven decision-making and strategic growth initiatives.

The finance team plays a critical role in influencing performance, shaping strategy and driving value creation across the organisation.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional reporting role.

The Senior Commercial Analyst will operate as a true business partner — influencing pricing strategy, customer profitability, product lifecycle decisions and investment outcomes. You will lead budgeting and forecasting processes, develop robust financial models, and provide forward-looking insights that directly impact commercial performance.

You will also lead and mentor two direct reports while supporting the CFO in selected accounting and control activities.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Analysis & Business Partnering
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product teams to drive informed decision-making
  • Analyse revenue streams, pricing models and customer profitability
  • Develop business cases for new investments and growth initiatives
  • Challenge assumptions and “pressure test” commercial decisions
Financial Planning & Performance
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Build dynamic financial models and scenario analysis
  • Monitor performance vs budget, identifying risks and opportunities
Reporting & Governance
  • Deliver high-quality management reporting and executive presentations
  • Provide actionable insights on trends and variances
  • Support month-end activities including warranty provisioning and inventory valuation
  • Strengthen financial controls in partnership with Finance and Operations
About You

You are commercially minded, analytically strong and confident engaging with senior stakeholders. You are comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and enjoy challenging the status quo.
You will bring:
  • CA / CPA (or equivalent) qualification
  • Strong experience in Commercial Finance, FP&A or Business Analysis
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Experience developing and utilising BI tools
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
  • A strategic mindset with a focus on value creation
Why This Role?
  • Direct exposure to CFO and executive leadership
  • Ownership of ANZ commercial performance
  • Opportunity to act as a change agent within finance
  • Leadership responsibility with two direct reports
  • Global organisation with strong local presence
This role represents an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious commercial finance professional seeking broader strategic influence and leadership exposure.
