Role:
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in transforming financial, operational, and clinical data into actionable commercial insights that support strategic decision-making at the executive and Board level. This role is central to driving continuous improvement, financial planning, and business performance in a sector focused on delivering high-quality care.
More specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling
- Provide commercial insight across diverse data sets, simplifying complex information into clear, strategic recommendations
- Partner with senior leaders across operations, finance, and executive teams to enhance business performance
- Drive initiatives to improve processes, operational efficiencies, and financial controls
- Support month-end and year-end close activities and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Mentor and guide finance and commercial teams to elevate overall commercial acumen
- Contribute to strategic growth opportunities, including new developments, acquisitions, and divestments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with CA or CPA qualification
- Experience in aged care or healthcare is highly desirable but not essential
- Strong technical skills in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting (advanced Excel essential; experience with Power BI, SQL or similar is a plus)
- Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to distil large, complex data sets into clear insights
- Excellent communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams
- Proven ability to deliver within deadlines and adapt in a dynamic environment
