Position Description
Reporting to the Credit Manager and working within a credit team of 10, your role will include but not be limited to the following duties:
- Looking after a ledger of key, high value accounts
- Following up on outstanding accounts
- Issuing credits, recharges & journals
- Account reconciliations
- Improving credit systems and processes
- Monthly debtor reporting as well as;
- Other ad hoc duties assigned by your Manager
Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience in similar Credit Officer roles within medium/large scale organisations
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to discuss problems with customers and determine solutions
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- An ability to work under pressure and prioritise urgent work
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
