Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the Sales Director, Heads of Key Accounts, Marketing Manager, and Regional Managers.
- Drive commercial performance by providing strategic financial insights, recommendations, and scenario modelling to support key decisions.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the sales division.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and business cases.
- Monitor sales performance, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend corrective actions.
- Provide leadership and influence across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial targets and commercial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and reporting requirements.
- Significant experience in a senior commercial finance role within FMCG, with a strong understanding of the sales function and its drivers.
- Proven track record partnering with sales leaders and commercial teams to deliver financial insights that influence strategy and performance.
- Deep understanding of the sales value chain and the ability to interpret commercial drivers into financial outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the maturity and confidence to influence senior leaders and handle challenging situations.
