About the Opportunity: A leading FMCG company is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Finance Business Partner to work closely with the Sales Director and senior stakeholders across the sales function. This role requires a highly skilled finance professional with proven ability to provide strategic insights, challenge assumptions, and drive commercial performance. Key Responsibilities: 
  • Act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to the Sales Director, Heads of Key Accounts, Marketing Manager, and Regional Managers.
  • Drive commercial performance by providing strategic financial insights, recommendations, and scenario modelling to support key decisions.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the sales division.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions, pricing strategies, and business cases.
  • Monitor sales performance, identify risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide leadership and influence across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial targets and commercial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and reporting requirements.
About You:
  • Significant experience in a senior commercial finance role within FMCG, with a strong understanding of the sales function and its drivers.
  • Proven track record partnering with sales leaders and commercial teams to deliver financial insights that influence strategy and performance.
  • Deep understanding of the sales value chain and the ability to interpret commercial drivers into financial outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the maturity and confidence to influence senior leaders and handle challenging situations.
  • Exceptional analytical, modelling, and presentation skills.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
