As a result of this growth, an exciting and rare opportunity has become available for a dynamic Senior Finance Officer who has strong proven experience with Accounts Payable & Receivable to join their collaborative Finance team. 

About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the role will include but not be limited to:
  • Accounts payable duties including: accurate processing and verification of supplier invoices, processing of payment runs, monitor petty cash, bank reconciliations and cash flow maintenance
  • Accounts Receivable duties including: banking, allocations, receipting, collection of overdue accounts, aged receivables reporting, and dispute resolution
  • Provide support to the Fleet Management function
  • Provide support to the Asset Management function
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly BAS
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations 
  • Month end reporting 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement 
  • Provide day to day operational support to the team 
  • Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

About You:
To be considered successful as the Senior Finance Officer, you will have at least 5 years experience within Accounting with a similar background in both Payables and Receivables. The ideal individual will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You must be customer service focused with enthusiasm and highly effective interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to confidently work autonomously, as well as collaboratively in a team environment with strong time management skills. Prior experience with a large ERP system and intermediate MS Excel skills are mandatory.
