Our client is a large listed Australian business within the property sector. This is a newly created opportunity to join a large team that oversees one of the largest property portfolios in Australia. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will work closely with multiple divisions across the business, including the Asset Management team and Infrastructure division.
The Responsibilities
- Month end management reporting.
- Preparation of audit and board reporting.
- Maintain financial models for accounting and forecasting.
- Accurately record transactions in the general ledger.
- BAS/IAS lodgments.
- Prepare statutory financial statements.
- Manage liquidity and cash flows.
- Prepare taxable income distribution calculations and tax forecasts.
- Adhoc requests.
- CA/CPA qualified or studying towards.
- Commercial experience as a Financial Accountant.
- Willing to be challenged and proactive in their approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and examples of prior stakeholder management experience.
