About the Role
Reporting directly to a highly experienced and supportive Head of Finance, this Senior Accountant role is central to the company’s financial operations and future expansion. You will take ownership of month-end, technical accounting, statutory and tax compliance, and group reporting, while also supervising and mentoring a junior team member.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial responsibilities and exciting projects as the business continues to scale — making it an ideal role for someone seeking genuine progression.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading month-end close, journals and AP accuracy
- Preparing monthly financial statements and management reporting packs
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring compliance
- Managing intercompany processes and group reporting requirements
- Preparing GST, FBT, payroll tax and supporting income tax lodgements
- Meeting industry-specific compliance and reporting standards
- Supporting payroll activities
- Researching and documenting tax and accounting policies
- Supervising and developing a Part-Qualified Accountant
- Contributing to high-growth transformation and project work
You’re a CA/CPA qualified accountant with 4–6 years of strong technical accounting experience and exposure to Australian tax. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy taking ownership, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders.

- Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with the wider business
- Highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills
