This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified first or second mover to take ownership of the end-to-end month-end process with a focus on revenue. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll lead the team in disciplined month-end close, maintaining strong balance sheet integrity, and managing complex revenue-related accounting matters. Beyond the numbers, you’ll act as a key finance partner to commercial and operational teams, turning revenue data into clear, actionable insights that support better decision-making. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented finance professional who has a positive outlook and growth mindset.
Duties
- Complete & review end-to-end month-end close including journals and reconciliations
- Support monthly management reporting and provide variance analysis
- Assist in group consolidation and preparation of consolidation journals
- Manage GL reconciliations, revenue interface reviews, and lease accounting
- Provide data and analysis for budgeting, reforecasting, and strategic planning
- Contribute to external audits and prepare statutory reporting as required
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and reforecast cycles for designated P&L and balance sheet areas
- Provide key data-driven insight to stakeholders on brand and channel
- Participate in system integration and finance transformation projects
- CA / CPA Qualified
- 3+ years post qualification experience
- Chartered first or second mover ideal
- Team management experience
- Retail experience preferred
- Can-do attitude with a growth mindset
- Excellent communication to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders
