About the Role
As a Senior Food Scientist, you will lead the development of new and innovative products while supporting continuous improvement of existing lines. You’ll be responsible for managing multiple end-to-end product development projects - from concept through to commercialization - working closely with cross-functional teams including Quality, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
You will play a key role in shaping the future offerings by applying your strong technical expertise and creative thinking to deliver products that align with brand values, nutritional standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will lead new product development and innovation projects across their full product portfolio, developing and reformulating products that align with consumer trends, cost targets, and regulatory standards. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to bring commercially viable products to market, while also conducting trials, evaluating performance, and overseeing scale-up in the production environment. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior scientists, supporting the growth and development of the broader R&D team.

Skills & Experience
  • Must be immediately available.
  • Degree or higher qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of experience of covering end to end of NPD projects.
  • A strong understanding of ingredients, processing technologies, and food safety requirements
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to innovate under pressure and juggle competing priorities.
  • A genuine passion for food, innovation, and consumer-driven product design.
