The State Leader is responsible for overseeing all activities allocated to the Lawyers and file handlers within the team. The State Leader is required to provide the necessary supervision and guidance to the team ensuring issues of compliance and client service level agreements are met whilst also developing and upskilling the team. They will also be tasked to deal with complex legal matters, including the immediate identification of legal issues and issues of compliance or conflict.
Key responsibilities:
- Civil litigation
- Case planning, development and management
- Providing high-quality legal advice and client representation
- Developing and maintaining appropriate networks with relevant organizations and engaging in partnership development activities when the need arises
- Managing, mentoring and supporting staff
- 5+ years across personal injury
- Current practicing certificate
- You will need to have staff management experience
- Objectively thinks through problems from various angles, assesses risk and identifies solutions
- Demonstrates originality of thought and the capacity to develop innovative solutions
