The Role | Reporting to the GM of Finance Operations
The main duties of the role include:
- Support the Factory Leadership Teams and demonstrate instances of influencing stakeholders in the delivery of objectives.
- Develop data-driven, fact-based information to support decisions enabling productivity measures to reduce overall cost.
- Drive cost down by reviewing and validating savings within the savings pipeline and report to management on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and finalise annual site budgets with department managers’ input and present to executive team.
- Complete quarterly rolling forecasts and presenting expected position.
- Manage master data – Bill of material setup and product costing recipes within ERP.
- Prepare new costings and determine whether New Product Development (NPDs) are meeting projections and generating expected return.
- Develop and maintain accurate costing methodology to enhance decision-making and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the Company’s standard cost and inventory valuation systems and procedures.
- Diagnose and report weekly and monthly material yield and loss, volume, labour efficiency, overhead absorption and expenses.
- Manage process order variances and inventories at least weekly and support factories to resolve material movement issues.

- CA / CPA qualified (preferred)
- Prior Management Accountanting experience within manufacturing will be highly regarded
- Advanced Excel & System Skills
- Strong analytical experience
- $120,000 + Superannuation
- $10,000 Travel Allowance
