An exciting role with an industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Senior Management Accountants' position will help provide accurate, timely and relevant reporting, analysis and insight to help to drive efficiency, productivity & improve financial outcomes for the business. Initially this will be a long-term contractual role, however there is the genuine opportunity for potential extension and / or permanency.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Business partnering with key Business Unit's
- Monthly reporting and variance analysis against budget and forecast
- Contract performance reviews, management reports, P&L, cash flow reporting and balance sheet analysis.
- Forecast year-end estimate, annual budgeting, productivity activities and fixed budget planning & analysis
- Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency
- Complete period-end close and reconciliations
- Ensure fair and accurate conversion cost allocations through periodic review
- Assist Financial Control team with annual statutory requirements which includes the provision of information to auditors.
- Provide financial modelling and other financial assistance to all related tender proposals.
The successful applicant will have
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
