The Role
This is a key role within the finance team, reporting directly to the Group Reporting Manager.
The Snr Management Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, managing month-end processes, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
The position plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of financial data, driving continuous improvement across reporting and systems, and providing insights to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including preparation and posting of journals.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany, bank, and fixed assets.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.
  • Assist with month-end management reporting, including preparation of executive summaries.
  • Support external audit requirements and liaise with auditors as needed.
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and FBT returns in accordance with ATO requirements.
  • Conduct sales and customer analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist in developing cash flow management processes and identify working capital improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and ensure accurate capitalization and depreciation.
  • Support the implementation of ERP and automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiency.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
  • Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, packaging, or industrial environments is highly regarded.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; exposure to ERP systems preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
