Reporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Marketing and Digital role is responsible for leading marketing and digital strategy and execution across direct and reseller channels in supporting the delivery of commercial targets and driving brand growth and business performance.
The Senior Marketing and Digital Manager must navigate the challenges of transition to the digital landscape, leveraging data and analytics to understand consumer behaviour, embracing personalisation.
Responsible for crafting strategies, managing budgets, setting goals for marketing teams; ensuring consistent brand messaging by business unit and sub-brand; analysing customer and consumer behaviour; demonstrating strategic vision, leadership, creativity, leadership skills to strengthen market presence and overall profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Lead the marketing and digital strategy across direct and reseller channels. You will be responsible for the development, execution and metrics of all marketing strategies, including digital, social, email, events and traditional media campaigns
- Online: Lead growth through online channels including website and marketplaces; such as Amazon. Optimise the customer experience and performance to achieve growth and profit goals
- Reseller: Lead the development and execution of integrated B2B marketing strategies for reseller channels, partnering with key retail partners to drive demand generation, optimise channel performance, and strengthen the market presence of Avery products through co-marketing initiatives and data-driven insights.
- Brand Development: Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all channels, to amplify our brand message.
- Product Development: Lead new product development and marketing growth strategies for new and existing products in support of business objectives
- Budget: Manage and report on the marketing budget and spend; ensure there are appropriate financial and people resources, within agreed plan, to deliver keys results
- Analysis: Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor strategies to optimise marketing effectiveness and assess new market opportunities for the brand in both marketing and sales and ways to improve customer acquisition and retention across the business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Marketing or Business studies degree qualified; post graduate education well regarded
- Minimum 8+ years similar experience in established Consumer B2B / D2C marketing functions;
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing marketing and digital strategy
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels such as Digital Advertising Social Media, EDM marketing, SEO;
- Strategic mindset to competitively position the brand within the market;
- Capability to develop and execute customer-centric marketing strategies
