The Company
Our client is a market leader, producer and distributor of FMCG products. Based in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne, they are seeking a product costing/management accountant to join their team due to continued growth in business performance. 

The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main responsibility of this role will be to track, analyse and report on the financial costing of the company's product lines and to project and forecast the impact of potential influxes and declines in product demand. The role will also be heavily involved in the implementation of SAP Business One in the one of the businesses.

On a day to day basis, you will be responsible for:
• Produce accurate and timely monthly accounts and commentaries
• Analyse monthly results including variances against budget, forecasts and previous estimates
• New and existing product costing 
• Prepare the annual budget, produce quarterly re-forecast and provide commentary
• Process improvement projects for Operations
• Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and adequately supported;
• Support capital project preparation;
• Business partner with the Head of Sales/ Marketing 
• Review the accruals and provisions, ensuring that all accruals greater than 90 days are adequately documented followed up and cleared

Qualifications & Requirements:
• You will possess previous Management Accounting experience in a large Retail, Manufacturing or FMCG business focusing on product costing
• Advanced knowledge of an ERP System essential, SAP preferred
• University degree qualified in Business / Commerce major in Accounting
• CA or CPA qualified
• Strong communication / analytical skills
• Ability to business partner with a variety of stakeholders
