The Organisation
Our client is a market leader within their given industry and is seeking a highly skilled payroll officer to join their growing team. Due to massive growth and a large number of employees joining the business, they are now seeking a highly motivated and skilled employee to join their Payroll team as a Senior Payroll Officer.
The Responsibilities
The candidate will be required to perform many and a variety of differing duties when completing the functions of the role; they will include but not limited to:
- Processing a high volume of monthly payroll
- Processing new starters and terminations
- Different EBA and Award interpretation
- Processing annual leave, sick leave and adjustments
- Superannuation, PAYG and Payroll tax processing
- Handling payroll queries
The Candidate
The successful candidate will uphold and obtain multiple different skills and abilities, however not exclusive or limited to the following:
- Dealt with a large payroll in the past in previous roles
- Excellent communication and personable skills and ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work within a team environment and support others and allow them to support you also
- Excellent time management skills and ability to priorities urgent work
