The Organisation

Our client is an ASX listed company who are market leaders in their industry. Due to restructure, our client requires the skills of an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their fast-paced team. Based in Melbourne's CBD with flexible working arrangements on offer, this role will be an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer looking for their next challenge.

Job Responsibilities  

Your role will include the following duties:

• Payroll processing for 5,000+ employees
• Timely and accurate processing of all fortnightly and monthly pay runs
• Monthly and Year end reconciliations and reporting
• Maintaining and improving Masterdata
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual compliance lodgements
• Issuing new contracts and on-boarding processes
• Internal stakeholder reporting as required
• Driving continuous improvements and efficiencies across the payroll function
• Other ad-hoc duties as required

  
Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll position along with the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in full function Payroll processing
• SAP experience
• Proven experience leading and managing teams
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
• Proven process improvement initiatives
