The Opportunity
Our client are looking to hire a Senior Payroll Governance Specialist to the business who will be the key point of contact within the payroll team for payroll escalations and complex queries.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive payroll governance and compliance to support identification and resolution of payroll risks and issues, supporting the delivery of on-time, accurate pay outcomes.
- Process payroll reconciliations, including but not limited to, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, and audit requirements.
- Working closely with the Payroll Manager to review payroll processes and provide input/recommendations for continuous improvement
- Oversee month end and year end payroll processes
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing
- Prior experience working with complex EBA/Awards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Exposure to working with large payroll systems (ADP, SAP, Oracle etc.)
- A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
- Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
