If you are a highly experienced Privacy lawyer that is looking for a diverse and challenging role within a fast paced and ever changing environment then this is an opportunity you will need to consider.

Reporting directly to the Head of Privacy you will be involved in:

• Providing privacy risk assessment expertise and privacy training 
• Building relationships with key stakeholders within the organization and work collaboratively within the broader Legal, Governance & Regulatory Affairs team
• Assisting the organization to operate in accordance with legislative requirements, regulations, internal policies and regulatory guidelines
• Assisting with their reporting in relation to incidents, risks and compliance obligations for privacy and data protection
• Maintaining an understanding of the current and emerging legal and regulatory environment for privacy and data protection
• Managing instructions to external law firms when required 

To be considered for this role you will need to have extensive prior experience advising on privacy laws and risks, and you will be able to leverage your previous experience from private practice or within an entity. You will take a deeply analytical approach and also be someone who understands the need for a risk based approach when providing legal advice. You will also have a strong understanding of the connection between privacy laws and areas such as data governance, IT security, marketing, analytics etc.
