Key Responsibilities
- Acquire, manage, analyse and report on production, quality and process data
- Automate reporting and streamline data flows across ERP, MES, BI tools and spreadsheets
- Lead root-cause investigations and assist with discrepancy management
- Improve and systemise spoilage and throughput reporting
- Conduct pre- and post-run reviews and ensure accuracy across all ERP/MES records
- Develop dashboards, data models and performance insights
- Recommend actions to improve efficiency, reduce cost and minimise waste
- Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Provide technical input into major CAPEX and automation projects
- Manage small-to-medium engineering projects within the department
- Mentor and support a junior Data & CI Analyst
- Ensure all reporting, data integrity and documentation meets regulatory and quality requirements
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering and quality teams to solve problems and improve processes
- Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Process) or a strong data/technical discipline
- Complex manufacturing environments - regulated, precision-driven, high compliance
- Data analysis tools: Excel, BI platforms, ERP/MES systems
- Building or improving reporting workflows, dashboards, and predictive insights
- Conducting root-cause investigations and driving CI projects
- Influencing operational teams and across all level through collaboration
- Hands-on, floor-based engineering with strong attention to detail
