The Role

As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical services and support for network connectivity, internal systems, cloud infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, virtualisation and more. The role includes planning system changes, maintaining configurations, performing capacity planning, and following change management processes. You'll communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, develop efficient system management techniques, and continuously strive to improve service standards.

Deliver in the following areas:
  • Internal systems, cloud, and network infrastructure.
  • Microsoft technologies: Windows Server, Office 365, SharePoint, and Active Directory.
  • WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security.
  • Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications.
  • Perform trend analysis of customer issues to proactively identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of system monitoring logs to verify the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, taking corrective actions as necessary.
  • Effectively provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain systems/network hardware & software.
  • Administer and manage Active Directory to ensure secure and appropriate access to relevant resources.
  • Communicate technical information in non-technical language to users with varying expertise and seniority.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement efficient and up-to-date system management techniques to optimise utilisation of resources.
