A major multinational group with revenues of $1.3bn+ across Asia Pacific is seeking an accomplished Senior Tax Accountant to join their regional head office. With strong growth through both organic expansion and acquisition, the business now requires a technically sharp tax specialist to help elevate a sophisticated tax function.
Opportunity:
This newly strengthened role will effectively operate as the 2IC to the Senior Tax Manager, making it ideal for someone with strong technical foundations from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm, complemented by experience working within a large or complex corporate environment. The work spans multiple jurisdictions across APAC and requires an individual who is detail-driven, proactive, and comfortable managing end-to-end tax compliance for a Significant Global Entity.
In this role, you will support the Group’s tax operations and risk management frameworks while driving accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all tax activities. This role suits someone who enjoys complexity, ownership, and variety—and who can blend deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement.

- CA/CPA qualification (or Master of Tax).
- Experience in corporate tax—ideally Big 4 / mid-tier training plus in-house exposure in a large, complex organisation.
- Strong technical grounding in Australian federal and state taxes.
- Impeccable attention to detail and analytical capability.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines under pressure without compromising accuracy.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to build trust with internal teams, global stakeholders, and advisors.
