A rare and exciting opportunity within a multinational Infrastructure organisation has arisen to fill a key role in their Indirect Tax team. This individual will take ownership of group wide FBT and LAFHA related obligations.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Group Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Be one of the key members of a large , centralized tax function of a major multinational infrastructure group.
- Manage preparation and review of FBT Returns for various, diversified entities within the group.
- Manage the LAFHA process across projects and within the group..
- Liaise with finance functions and business units to implement and support FBT compliance process and collect relevant FBT data.
- Provide accurate and reliable indirect tax advice to the business units.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with the relevant functions and business units.
- Continuously improve and automate FBT and other tax processes.
- Assist the Group Tax manager with various tax related projects, reporting obligations and process improvement sopportunities.
- Opportunity to work on Direct Tax compliance reporting obligations.
The successful applicant will have
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. 3-5 years exposure to a similar position within a relevant, project-based industry is desirable. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and autonomously. There is a travel requirement for this role.
