An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Workplace Relations Specialist to join a high-performing team, within a major Australian retailer.

This role plays a critical part in managing complex and high-risk employee relations matters while providing strategic industrial and employment law advice to senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

As a trusted Workplace Relations expert, you will:
  • Manage end-to-end employee relations cases, handling multiple complex, high-risk matters concurrently - including workplace disputes, serious misconduct and unlawful termination claims
  • Prepare for and represent the organisation in tribunal matters, including conciliations and hearings before the Fair Work Commission
  • Conduct thorough, legally sound workplace investigations into allegations of discrimination, bullying, harassment and breaches of workplace legislation
  • Partner with senior leaders, HR teams and legal counsel to mitigate risk and ensure best-practice compliance
This is a strategic advisory role requiring sound judgment, strong technical capability and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

What You Bring:
  • Strong experience in complex workplace relations and employment law
  • Extensive experience managing high-risk workplace investigations and complex employee relations cases 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment with multiple stakeholder group
  • Highly experienced in building strong stakeholder relationships and influencing people with ease
