About the Role

The SEO Content Strategist is a newly created position that will be responsible for the end to end creation process for clients. This role will require you to develop new and innovative content strategies by partnering with their clients

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce content and web copy for pages on client websites both long and short form, from landing pages to blog posts to category and product page content Identifying & delivering growth opportunities through category innovation
  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO content strategies in collaboration with SEO specialists.
  • Act as a resource for the SEO team, focusing on strategic content creation.
  • Innovate and refine content strategies to support SEO goals.
  • Optimise content and landing pages to improve SEO performance.
  • Build new processes to help improve quality of content wit the use of new tools such as language learning models, machine learning and AI
  • Collaborate with Product Lead to develop rigorous processes around management of freelance writers
  • Conduct extensive SEO research, including topic selection, competitor analysis, and keyword optimisation. Develop detailed content with optimised titles, internal links.
  • Proactively engage with clients to include their insights and quotes, enhancing content credibility and authority.
Skills and Experience
  • Past experience working with enterprise/household name brands
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and high quality output
  • Project management experience is desirable
  • Ability to work independently
  • Analytical and data-driven work style
  • Ability to respond positively to peer and customer feedback
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (verbally and in writing)
  • Experience working in a startup or agency environment
