A well-established and growing organisation based in Dandenong South is seeking a Service Advisor to join their team. This opportunity sits at the heart of the service function, acting as the key link between customers, technicians, and internal teams.
You will manage incoming service enquiries, coordinate job scheduling, and ensure customers are kept informed from booking through to completion. This is a pivotal role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, proactive, and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all service and maintenance enquiries
- Schedule service jobs and allocate work to technicians
- Prepare and manage job cards, service requests, and work orders
- Coordinate parts and internal resources to ensure smooth job delivery
- Maintain regular communication with customers regarding progress and timeframes
- Log and update all job information accurately within internal systems
- Assist with service quotes, invoicing, and purchase orders
- Support warranty processes and service reporting requirements
- Liaise with internal departments including service, parts, sales, and operations
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Service Coordinator, Scheduling or Customer Service-based role
- Strong communication skills with a confident and professional phone manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing schedules
- High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
- Comfortable using service management systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience within automotive, mechanical, industrial, or technical service environments (desirable)
- A basic mechanical or technical understanding (advantageous)
