The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the overall performance of a high-volume location. You will be supported by beautifully designed facilities, a collaborative leadership team, and very in-depth, tailored training to set you up for long-term success.

Key focus areas include:
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of 5+ through fortnightly 1:1s and regular support
  • Driving a strong, values-led culture with a focus on care, professionalism and service excellence
  • Building trusted relationships with families, community groups and key stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily operations, rostering and resourcing to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Manage operational and financial targets while maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Engage with the local community to strengthen relationships and brand presence
  • Support families with empathy and sensitivity during emotionally significant moments
  • Monitor performance, conduct regular check-ins, and support ongoing development
  • Maintain high compliance, administration and service standards
About You

This role is open to leaders from service-driven environments, including hospitality, health, retail, airlines, real estate, community services or similar.

You will bring:
  • Proven leadership experience (people management is essential)
  • Empathy 
  • A compassionate, calm and professional communication style
  • Confidence managing operations, rostering and performance targets
  • Strong stakeholder and community engagement skills
  • Comfort working in sensitive environments involving grief and loss
  • A current unrestricted driver’s licence
No prior funeral industry experience is required — full training is provided.
