Role and Responsibilities  

Reporting through to the CFO and managing a team 10, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing the groups accounts receivable function to ensure that overdue debtor targets are met.  A team of 4 managing a multi-million dollar debtors ledger.  
  • Managing the accounts payable team, ensuing that suppliers are paid on time and accurately.  A team of 6 processing a high volume of invoices month to month.
  • Managing the operational and commercial relationship with all shared services customers and external service providers  
  • Provide senior accounting support to all relevant areas for the Shared Services Group as well as leadership to ensure it is appropriately resourced
  • Pro-actively seeking on-going improvements and efficiencies in all activities, focusing on reducing costs.   
  • Providing ad hoc reporting and analysis of related transactions as required, as well as managing the back office integration for any mergers and acquisitions.   
  • Assist in any other business support initiatives as directly by the CFO and executive leadership team.  
Candidate Profile
  • You will be a a skilled candidate with an in depth knowledge of best practice in Shared Services preferably with SAP experience.
  • Strong accounting knowledge, with an ability to juggle a large number of diverse issues and projects.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
  • Ability to delegate coupled with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage upwards and downwards with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • A strong strategic partner to work within an environment that supports their employees.
