About the role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work collaboratively to create a world class shopper marketing communications strategy. You will develop, own and execute the entire shopper marketing strategy. You are strategic and hands on and you love that! You will create a compelling customer experience through both permanent and temporary point of purchase materials, ticketing, LCD screens, interactive events and have a thorough understanding of customer journeys.
Your responsibilities
- Develop an in-store shopper marketing strategy which delivers to brand and customer experience objectives, translating the brand and advertising efforts within the store environment;
- Undertake customer behaviour research to better understand how customers navigate stores, feel about their in-store experience and the drivers of purchase intent;
- Focus on the role and location of point of purchase (POP) materials and off location displays
- Review current pricing and ticketing techniques and make recommendations for improvements to drive price perception in store;
- Make recommendations of holding and displaying publications and announcements such as their weekly catalogue, price boards, in store services etc
- Introduce and influence the strategy and framework within the business, develop and embed new ways of working across marketing, commercial, operations and communications.
The successful applicant will have
- Previous experience in retail based marketing or shopper marketing from a retail or FMCG industry
- Strong stakeholder management experience, in a fast paced and complex environment
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to story tell and influence and get buy in from key stakeholders
- A proven track records of results. You know how to make an impact and drives sales from a shopper lens
