Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will play a key part in scaling our client’s core platform, contributing to solution design, and guiding engineering best practice across a fully remote team.
This role will suit either an experienced Technical Lead or a proven Senior Software Engineer who is ready to step into a lead role.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work autonomously in a remote-first environment.
Requirements
- Strong, recent commercial experience with PHP and Laravel (essential)
- Senior-level engineering experience with clear examples of technical ownership
- Experience contributing to solution design and architectural decisions
- Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines
- Proven experience actively configuring, maintaining, and operating AWS environments
- Experience working in SaaS, product-led, start-up or scale-up environments
- Full-stack capability is highly regarded, with exposure to Vue.js or similar frameworks
- Strong background in modern engineering practices, DevOps, and cloud-native development
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead remotely and influence technical direction
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership
