- Identify and leverage strategic sourcing opportunities across Procurement & broad Supply Chain teams
- Proactively analyse market trends and benchmark industry best practices to bring innovative opportunities to the procurement and supply chain team.
- Collaborate with buyers and ad hoc support buying activities
- Coach and mentor buyers, providing guidance and support without direct supervisory responsibilities.
- Lead and manage various projects focused on implementing best practise and enhance procurement efficiency.
- Oversee and optimize the overall spend in logistics, including both direct and indirect expenses.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with a strong track record of cost savings and process improvement.
- Deep understanding of market trends, benchmarking, and best practices in procurement.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring procurement professionals.
