The business provides ready-made meals to individuals supported through government-funded programs. The organisation is currently undergoing a significant operational integration project, consolidating suppliers, manufacturers, internal systems and warehouse operations to streamline its supply chain.
This role will sit within the Supply Chain function and report to the Head of Supply Chain. It will play a key role in coordinating the flow of products from manufacturers through to warehouse storage and final delivery to customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating supply between manufacturers, warehouses and internal teams
- Monitoring stock levels and managing inventory availability
- Working with suppliers on production planning and menu supply
- Liaising with client services regarding delivery or stock availability issues
- Supporting operational projects related to supplier and warehouse consolidation
- Maintaining reporting and tracking through Excel and internal systems
- Building strong relationships with warehouse teams and external suppliers
- Working autonomously while maintaining strong cross-functional communication
Working Environment:
The organisation is a collaborative business of approximately 40 employees where teams work closely together and individuals are encouraged to take a hands-on approach.
The business operates across two Sydney office locations -
- Surry Hills
- Five Dock
About You To be successful in this role, you will likely bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory coordination
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, or warehouse operations
- Strong communication skills across internal teams and external partners
- The ability to work independently and adapt in a changing environment
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within the role
Systems & Tools:
- Excel (primary reporting and analysis tool)
- Internal inventory management system
- Salesforce (likely to be implemented as part of an upcoming digital transformation project)
- Exposure to Power BI is advantageous but not required
Travel:
- Weekly travel to NSW warehouse locations - Wetherill Park and Pemulwuy
- Potential quarterly interstate travel as operations expand
- A valid driver’s license is required
- On-site parking is available at both warehouse locations
