About the role:
An exciting opportunity within the not for profit industry currently exists in order to fill a key role in the Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Systems Accountant role will involve supporting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.

The Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into the General Manager of Finance, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead D365 implementations, from initial setup to post-implementation support, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Provide expert troubleshooting support to resolve system issues and optimize performance, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Configure D365 modules to meet specific business needs, leveraging your deep understanding of accounting principles and system functionalities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct system testing, and provide user training and support as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in D365 and other relevant technologies, proactively identifying opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA/CA/CIMA or similarly qualified or working towards
- Several years experience in accounting or finance, with a strong systems track record (Implementations or Systems Accounting) with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a similar ERP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
