A privately owned transport organisation is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Lead to oversee and deliver high-volume recruitment across the business.

Reporting into the HR function, this is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the work while also leading and developing a small, capable team.

About the role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of high-volume recruitment, partnering closely with HR and operational stakeholders to ensure workforce needs are met efficiently and with quality front of mind.
This role will also play a key part in refining recruitment processes, delivering assessment centres, and supporting broader people initiatives.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end, high-volume recruitment across multiple roles
  • Manage, coach and develop a small Talent Acquisition team
  • Design and facilitate assessment centres
  • Partner closely with HR and hiring managers to understand workforce needs
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes and candidate experience
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment best practice and internal policies
About you
  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment environments
  • Experience leading or mentoring a recruitment or TA team
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience running assessment centres (highly regarded)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, operational environments
  • Hands-on, pragmatic and solutions-focused
