An exciting opportunity has emerged for a commercially astute HR Business Partner to join a proud, family-owned agribusiness with an 80+ year history and a bold growth agenda.

With significant inorganic and organic growth underway - including multiple acquisitions and a major international trading expansion. This role will play a critical part in scaling the international arm of the business and partnering with commercial leaders to drive future profit growth.

The Opportunity
This is not a traditional HRBP role.
You will take ownership of the international business portfolio, alongside domestic commercial, trading, wholesale and sales teams - partnering closely with leaders to embed people strategy into commercial outcomes.
With heavy exposure to M&A activity, acquisition integration and change management, you’ll sit at the forefront of business transformation while ensuring culture, capability and performance remain strong.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to international and commercial leaders
  • Support integration of new acquisitions, including a significant international trading acquisition
  • Partner on KPIs, incentive frameworks (STI), leadership development and workforce planning
  • Provide guidance on performance, engagement and case management where required
  • Drive talent acquisition strategy - particularly in the US market
  • Contribute to scaling the international function from a small sales team to a broader warehousing and operational footprint
  • Support change initiatives while maintaining strong engagement across a long-tenured workforce

  • Is comfortable working through M&A integration and organisational change
  • Understands financial drivers and can translate data into people strategy
  • Brings curiosity, strong relationship skills and the ability to influence senior leaders
  • Is open to international exposure and travel
