An exciting opportunity within an multinational IT / Tech organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This role will initially begin as a long-term contractual role (12 months) with the genuine potential for extension / permanency following this period for the right candidate.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Head of Finance, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Provide assistance to the wider Finance team in relation to all Tax matters, queries, transactions and projects.
- Complete applicable tax reporting obligations (direct, indirect, employment taxes, TP)
- Complete Tax returns & filings
- Forecasting group Tax positions (inc. thin capitalisation, Pillar 2)
- Work towards continuous improvement & automation
- Global transfer pricing model maintenance
- Participation in global Fixed Asset register project
- Conduct operational tax reviews
- Support on ad-hoc advisory (not leading advisory work)
- Develop positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA/Master of Tax qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well. Furthermore, a background in a Big-4/Mid-Tier (corporate tax compliance or advisory) will be considered advantageous; as will an industry background in either Data Centres, Financial Services, IT/Tech, Real Estate or Infrastructure.
