This role plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's services. You will be responsible for efficiently scheduling pest control technicians, optimizing their daily routes, and managing appointments with clients. This is a critical role that requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and excellent communication abilities to ensure both customers and technicians are well-coordinated and informed.
The role can be based out of Derwent Park or Launceston, it will be 5 days in office.
About You
You are an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach, you can effectively manage technician schedules and resolve conflicts as they arise. You are comfortable working with scheduling software and have a proactive attitude when it comes to solving logistical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule pest control technicians for service appointments across residential and commercial sites.
- Coordinate and optimize daily routes to maximize technician efficiency.
- Communicate with customers and technicians to confirm appointments, reschedule services, and handle general inquiries.
- Adjust schedules and handle urgent or emergency service calls as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled services, customer information, and technician availability in the scheduling system.
- Work closely with technicians to ensure they have the necessary information and resources for each job.
- Perform administrative duties related to scheduling, such as invoicing and service documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring prompt service.
- Previous experience in a scheduling/ rostering of people will be highly regarded. Some examples are social work coordination, medical staff coordination and technician scheduling.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be calm working under pressure and with urgency.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to manage last-minute changes and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing schedules and client information.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment where schedule can change daily.
- Must have full, unrestricted rights to work in Australia (sponsorship is not available).
