About the role:
Based onsite 5 days a week and starting at 5am you'll be instrumental in the day-to-day operations, overseeing waving and rostering functions to ensure seamless coordination and exceptional customer service. From managing visitors' greetings to supporting office and warehouse activities, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of the organisation, focusing on various responsibilities aimed at enhancing efficiency and ensuring top-notch customer service. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop daily, weekly, and monthly forecasts, ensuring alignment with evolving labour requirements and operational demands. 
  • Rostering: Utilise your organisational skills to create and adjust staff rosters, balancing operational needs with service level agreements to drive optimal performance. 
  • Workload Management: Take charge of absence coverage, deftly reorganizing work assignments to maintain seamless workflow continuity and mitigate operational disruptions. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities to optimise rostering, wages, and costs, driving efficiency enhancements across the board. 
  • Onboarding: Lead the induction and orientation programs for new employees and contractors, ensuring a positive experience for new starters  
  • Performance Evaluation: Actively participate in site meetings to evaluate productivity levels, collaboratively identifying areas for improvement and implementing refined operational procedures to enhance overall performance. 
  • Resource Monitoring: Support the monitoring and reporting of site resource utilisation and productivity targets, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive operational excellence. 
Skills and Expereince: 
  • Experience and Expertise: Ideally, you'll bring prior experience in rostering and/or workforce planning, with a proven track record of success in a dynamic operational environment. 
  • Analytical: Possess strong analytical skills coupled with a strategic mindset, enabling you to navigate complex operational challenges and drive data-informed decision-making. 
  • Communication: Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 
  • Technological Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications, particularly Excel & Word, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. 
  • Adaptability and Agility: Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, with a demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new systems, processes, and operational requirements.
