About the Role Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Controller plays a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and planning. This is a hands-on role, partnering with leaders across the business to drive performance, support growth initiatives, and ensure financial compliance. The role required 5 days on site, where you will join a collaborative finance team in a high-trust, high-performance environment. Responsibilities Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes Deliver insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to senior leadership Partner with operational and executive teams to support business strategy through financial modelling and analysis Monitor and enhance cost control measures across business units Ensure compliance with accounting standards required Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations Support and guide junior accounting staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Manage financial inputs into strategic projects and support external/internal audit processes Ideal Candidate You’ll be a commercially minded and technically strong finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. With a strategic lens and hands-on approach, you're a trusted business partner with strong stakeholder engagement skills. You will bring: CA or CPA qualification A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field At least 3 years’ experience in a similar Financial Controller/ Manager or Senior Finance role You may be a first mover from a Big 4 or mid-tier firm Industry experience in property, hospitality, or investment will be highly regarded.
