The Role Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Company Accountant will take ownership of the day to day finance function for the group, delivering accurate reporting, compliance and financial control. This is a broad role ideal for an experienced accountant who enjoys variety, autonomy and business partnering across the organisation. Key duties include: Full ownership of month-end including journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations Preparation of BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax and statutory returns Weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting and management Payroll processing for the group including PAYG, superannuation and compliance Oversight of AP/AR and resolution of complex finance queries Preparation of management reporting packs with commentary for leadership Supporting external audit and annual statutory accounts process About You You are a qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with proven experience in a medium to large business environment. You are hands-on, detail-oriented and capable of balancing compliance with commercial insights. You thrive in roles with variety and ownership, and you’re confident engaging stakeholders across all levels of the business.
