Our client is looking for a payroll and accounts officer to join their finance and accounting team. The majority of the role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of end to end accounts receivable and supporting outsourced payroll. This is initially a temporary opportunity with view to permanency for the right candidate.
The Responsibilities
- End-to-end accounts receivable; onboarding new clients, generating invoices, allocating payments, reviewing aged debtor reports and collecting payments
- Ensuring compliance with enterprise agreements, modern awards, and payroll legislation.
- Managing payroll queries and providing expert guidance to employees and managers.
- Reconciling payroll data and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Collaborating with HR, finance, and outsourced payroll providers to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Supporting system improvements and process enhancements.
The successful applicant will have
- 3+ years experience in end to end accounts receivable and payroll processing
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing role for >250 employees
- Experience with Employment Hero and D365 is desirable
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Great communication and customer skills
