You will take responsibility for managing the national debtors ledger, whilst supporting a diverse portfolio of customers in a variety of sectors. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to come on board and lead a close knit team of 2, whilst achieving work-life balance working close to home in Melbourne's West. 

Position Description
Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Effectively lead, manage and oversee a close knit team of 2 staff in Accounts Receivable.
  • Management of the day to day operations of invoicing, allocating, and receipting. 
  • Oversee the collections process and handling escalations.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies. 
  • Optimise existing processes to achieve strategic goals whilst implement new strategies to increase efficiencies.
  • Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and generate routine reports to help senior management and key business stakeholders monitor progress.

Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role, as well as the following attributes:
  • First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective.
  • Excellent leadership skills with initiative and a positive ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude, in conjunction with initiative and a strategic focused mindset. 
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a large debtors ledger, with strong negotiation & decision making sills.
