You will take responsibility for managing the national debtors ledger, whilst supporting a diverse portfolio of customers in a variety of sectors. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic & motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to come on board and lead a close knit team of 2, whilst achieving work-life balance working close to home in Melbourne's West.
Position Description
Reporting to the CFO, your duties will include but not be limited to the following:
- Effectively lead, manage and oversee a close knit team of 2 staff in Accounts Receivable.
- Management of the day to day operations of invoicing, allocating, and receipting.
- Oversee the collections process and handling escalations.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Optimise existing processes to achieve strategic goals whilst implement new strategies to increase efficiencies.
- Conduct continuous due diligence on credit processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders.
- Prepare and generate routine reports to help senior management and key business stakeholders monitor progress.
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar role, as well as the following attributes:
- First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective.
- Excellent leadership skills with initiative and a positive ability to lead and motivate a team.
- A passionate and positive 'can do' attitude, in conjunction with initiative and a strategic focused mindset.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage a large debtors ledger, with strong negotiation & decision making sills.
