Our client, a well-established healthcare provider operating Urgent Care Clinics across the Bayside area, is seeking a motivated and organised Healthcare Administration Assistant to join their growing support hub.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to build their career in healthcare administration within a supportive, fast-paced environment. Working closely with the Operations team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring clinics run smoothly and efficiently by assisting with rostering, general administration, facility coordination, and staff communication. The role includes a rotating weekend roster, including every second weekend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support across multiple clinic sites.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining staff rosters for GPs, Nurses, and Reception teams.
- Coordinate supplies, facilities, and general clinic maintenance requests.
- Support on-call coverage for operational or staffing queries (as required).
- Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and communication logs.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to process improvements and team initiatives.
- 1–2 years’ experience in healthcare administration, medical reception, or a similar administrative role.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident and professional communicator, both verbal and written.
- Experience with rostering systems (e.g. Tanda) or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- Friendly, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
