About the Role

As the Allied Health Manager, you will oversee clinical, operational, and workforce functions within the allied health space. Reporting to the Director of Allied Health, you will lead a team of 30+ allied health staff, ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Manage staffing, recruitment, leave, and performance; oversee budgets and resource allocation; represent Allied Health in service meetings.
  • Clinical Oversight: Ensure the provision of diverse therapeutic interventions; support complex patient care; promote best practice standards.
  • Workforce & Development: Drive workforce strategies, supervise staff, facilitate professional growth, and foster a high-performance team environment.
  • Quality & Innovation: Lead quality improvement initiatives; support research activities; promote evidence-based practice and service enhancement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, peer workforce, families, and community partners to optimise patient outcomes.
About You
  • Qualifications: Current registration with AHPRA (OT, Physio, Psychologist, Speech Pathologist)
  • Experience: Extensive clinical experience in mental health settings, ideally a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice preferred.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and develop innovative models of care.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of mental health legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Attributes: Motivated, customer-focused, collaborative team player with high professional standards.
