Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Director and managing a team of 5, we are seeking a hands-on, dynamic and growth-minded Demand Manager to drive effective S&OP and APAC wide operational excellence.
Your new position will be pivotal in aligning sales and operational functions. Responsibilities include leveraging statistical models and market analysis for accurate demand forecasting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and translating forecasts into actionable production and inventory plans. As the APAC Demand Manager, you will monitor performance, communicate forecasts to stakeholders, and utilize technology for efficient demand management. You will balance short term objectives with long term strategy, and will adopt a continuous improvement mindset to drive sustainable positive change across the business,
Emphasis is placed on fostering cross-functional alignment, ensuring that demand planning integrates seamlessly with supply planning and production scheduling. The role contributes to S&OP success by optimizing inventory, mitigating risks, and supporting overall operational efficiency through effective demand management.
To be successful, you will have:
  • Understanding of best in class S&OP, with supporting experience managing Demand within a complex supply chain
  • Excellent communication skills underpinned by your ability to positively build internal relationships and drive best operating practices
  • A growth, can do mindset, and an energy that supports positive organisational change
  • Experience navigating complex excel spreadsheets, with an ability to manipulate large data sets and translate to other stakeholders across the business
