Our client is looking for an career driven Assistant Accountant who is seeks a company where they can stay long term, and progress within the organisation over the long term following the succession plan outlined by the Finance Manager. This role would be best suited to someone who has 2-3 years experience in a Finance & Accounting position and is looking to study their CA/CPA in future
The responsibilities
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Processing invoices for AP (around 200 Per Month)
- Handle AR enquiries & issuing invoices
- Credit card and statement reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing of BAS, Tax and other month end accounting tasks will be added onto this role as you build up your knowledge.
- 2-3 years experience in a Commercial accounting role
- Be enthusiastic and keen to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- SAP Experience ideal
- Strong attention to detail
