Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their accounting team. The role and the business is suited to someone who is hard-working, has a positive attitude and is a team player. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable Tasks
- Weekly and monthly financial reporting
- Month-end closing process
- General ledger maintenance and trial balance
- Assistance with effective cash flow management
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Other ad hoc duties.
- Excellent communication skills
- 2 years+ experience in a similar position
- Strong excel skills (v-look ups, pivot tables)
- Positive attitude
- Aspirations to grow within a business
